This blog is for the benefit of existing entrepreneurs and those drawn to starting their own businesses.  My intention is to create sufficient value so that the resources, inspiration and training available here will assist you in taking your personal development and therefore your business to the next level.  On this site you will experience my own inspirational scribes and those of other guest experts in the self growth and personal development fields.

I am incredibly passionate about sharing what I have learned and my best practices by working with people who are eager to double or triple their income in the next 12-18 months and assisting them in creating their first or their next million building a legacy for their families and communities.

I am a Positive-Minded Entrepreneur and Mentor, Wife, Mother, Sister, Cousin, Friend, Cat Lover, who experiences Abundance and Prosperity with every breath and teaches others how to Prosper and Create Wealth.

Personally, I have lived in Florida for 20 years, originally from Chicago and Crystal Lake, Illinois.  My business team members are scattered throughout the United States, United Kingdom and South Africa at present.

Because my passion and business are embedded with my strong faith in the Infinite Source, God, and also the Laws of Attraction, the Power of Intention, and Laws of the Universe, it seemed fitting to pull from my childhood my nickname “Janet the Planet” for my blog.

The associates whom I’ve recruited on my team will tell you I am strong with great drive, inspiring, detail oriented, empathetic and caring but not enabling and set a great example.  Of my personal relationships, my friends and family will tell you I’ve weathered a lot of personal storms, always saw the positive, and had great determination to come out on top.  They always saw me as successful in whatever I did.

A constant theme throughout my life has been personal development.  I believe it all started as a little girl with my mother reading to me “The Little Engine That Could.”  The book’s mantra for those of you who don’t know is “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!” My personal home office library is filled primarily 95% with books relative to self improvement which I’ve accumulated over the years.  Today, I am a voracious and prolific reader absorbing as many books as my lifestyle permits, which is usually 2-3 major titles a month.  I am passionate about staying on top of my craft, my industry, so I can share that knowledge with those on my team, my family and friends and my followers.

I am not the type to flaunt what I have or what I know. I’m down to earth and will tell it like it is. At times, I can be a bit more reserved — maybe it’s that ‘good girl’ Methodist upbringing. I’m your quiet Millionaire Next Door type.

FORTUNE COOKIE STORY

Here’s my Fortune Cookie Story that allowed me to release the subconscious and conscious strings of my former career. I’ve had several fortune cookies since this first ‘coincidence’ the universe created and you’ll see Fortune Cookie stories on my blogs.

If you’ve done any work on yourself regarding releasing limiting beliefs you’ll know that repetition of that work might be necessary. Even though my conscious mind knew I wanted to leave my former career as a Financial Advisor and believed I had found the perfect match in the type of business I had been seeking, my subconscious mind hadn’t wanted to let go of the supposed job security of that position and was resisting turning in my resignation so I could start my new business. During some of my personal development at that time I had a meeting with one of my largest clients’ whose assets I managed. It was a luncheon meeting which I hosted for this client family each year. We were at a P.F.Chang restaurant and when the end of the meal came, a plate of fortune cookies was passed around. There were 4 of us, 2 had already been passed out and I picked one of the remaining two from the tray. The message: “Don’t be afraid to take that big step.” I so wanted to tell these clients of my intention to move on, but held back.

Barely a couple of months passed and the client phoned me to say they were in town close to my office having lunch at a P.F Chang (30 miles from the first one we were at) and if I had time to come join them. It was impromptu and I had arranged my affairs as needed and was just a few days away from resigning, so I thought I’d use this meeting as an opportunity to let them know of my decision face-to-face, which I intended to do and for which I would have had to set an appointment. Although supportive, my clients were upset of my decision to abandon my financial services practice. But after hearing my personal story of what I was experiencing (many confidential details regarding my employment conditions cannot be revealed here) they understood. I also told them of the fortune cookie I received at our meal just weeks earlier. They being believers openly discussed this as a ‘sign.’ At the end of the meal, the place of cookies came around. There were 4 of us, 2 had already been passed out and I picked one of the remaining two from the tray. The message: “Don’t be afraid to take that big step.”

Non-believers will laugh and say “Oh, all the fortune cookies from that same restaurant all say the same thing,” or “they probably only have a few original messages and that’s why you got the same one.”

As a believer I knew different . . . If you listen and are open to receiving, your Source and the Universe will send you all sorts of messages!
